Analysed Data & Denies (Case Study on Faulty Brake of Toyota)

It was purely a mechanical fault on those recalled Toyota cars. This is what strongly admitted by the Toyota.

It was a defect caused by the electronics control malfunction. A claimed did by the few independent search.

For me, I do suspect the faulty electronics may caused by insufficient thermal management of the PCB where the control components were placed onto it. Suspected the conductive layer were having a whisker and over stress due to Tj (excessive junction temperature) on the operating mode.

To be confirm, looking for any Toyota owner who own the said recalled model and let me perform the inspection... :)

  1. WE say the insufficient thermal management of the PCB which caused the Tj rises above the limit while operating. And this may comes form a faulty mechanical that drains the electronics current to ramp to such a high Amp within short time and for a long period...higher the current at a long time higher the chance of Tj rises and when it is a poor ... See morethermal conductor acts surely a breaks happened. It may either burn the conductive layer of the circuit, ate up the traces width that cause less current load resistanceor causing the Au wire gets whisker.
